About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Research Office team and support researchers who are transforming our tomorrow today.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to provide administrative support for our internal grants portfolio. The successful candidate will work under minimal supervision, supporting the administration of selected internal competitive grant programs and external grant programs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Post-award activities such as reviewing and recommending reports and variations for approval, providing post-award support to grantees.
  • Working collaboratively with others in the team to ensure the annual portfolio cycle runs smoothly.
  • Providing advice to grant applicants and grant holders on grant terms and conditions, reporting and variation requirements, feedback and outcomes.
  • Contributing to portfolio-level activities including preparation of regular newsletters and developing and maintaining webpages.
Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience in providing high-level administrative support and proactively contributing to a dynamic office environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly convey information and ideas and establish effective interpersonal relationships with a wide variety of people.
  • Good organizational skills coupled with the ability to meet deadlines while managing competing priorities and adapting to a changing work environment.
  • The ability to professionally handle sensitive and confidential information and use appropriate judgment and discretion.
