Forest Regulation Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate wildlife biologist to provide guidance on the effects of forestland management activities on fish and wildlife habitats.

As a member of our team, you will work closely with small forest landowners to prepare for forest practice activities, understand and apply Forest Practices riparian rules, and assist with Forest Practices Applications.

This role involves consulting with staff and landowners to develop comprehensive plans, reviewing long-term applications and alternate plan templates, and addressing other forest practice-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance to small forest landowners on forest practice regulations
  • Consult with staff on forest practice applications and review alternate plans
  • Assist landowners in understanding and complying with Forest Practices riparian rules
