Job Overview

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join its team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our enterprise data platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across the data ecosystem.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in modern data platform engineering, including end-to-end data platform design and implementation.

Key responsibilities include contributing to the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms, designing and implementing data platforms using modern data stack technologies, collaborating with data architects, engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions, leading the implementation of automations using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring data platform reliability, performance, and security.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a data engineering role for senior-level candidates
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in modern data platform engineering and end-to-end data platform design and implementation
  • Experience with automation across engineering
  • Familiarity with open-source data stack tools
  • Experience with GitHub, PR processes, CI/CD pipelines, and code/release management
  • Proficiency in cloud (AWS), Kubernetes, Docker
  • Proficiency in streaming technologies and ETL/ELT data pipelines
  • Proficiency in database technologies and data lake storage
  • Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools
  • Proficiency in Data Governance tools
  • Programming knowledge in at least one language (preferably Python and Java)
  • Knowledge of AI/MCP is optional
