As a leader, you will also oversee a team of experienced professionals, guiding them to achieve exceptional results and consistently meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the retention and expansion of a high-value book of business, focusing on mid-sized, high-yield accounts.
  • Counsel a team of professionals on account retention and expansion skills, enhancing their capabilities and performance.
  • Develop research methodologies for account development, gathering essential information on decision-makers, business challenges, and priorities.
  • Drive the account and portfolio expansion process, leveraging market trends, competitor positioning, and close proximity to accounts.
  • Develop custom solutions to address account/prospect needs, determining appropriate resources and teams to provide best-in-class service.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience within a commercial insurance and risk consulting environment.
  • Insurance broker's license.
  • Sound business acumen, including general business functions, finance, and issues knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines.
  • Understanding of the Oil & Gas and Mining industries, as well as the associated insurance market.
