Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Allied Health team at The Hospital Research Foundation Group. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing client-centered care to individuals affected by Parkinson's, Stroke, or other neurological/movement disorders.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough OT assessments and developing personalized intervention plans in collaboration with clients, primary support people, and other clinicians.
- Promoting health and wellness solutions to optimize mental and physical outcomes for clients.
- Providing clinical supervision and support to a team of Occupational Therapists.
- Raising awareness and understanding of neurological conditions among clients, families, health professionals, and the wider community.
- Building strong relationships with consumers, families, and support coordinators to maximize client outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and current AHPRA registration with a minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience.
- Experience in clinical supervision and a strong understanding of neurological, cardiovascular, metabolic, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- The ability to deliver sound advice and education in a comprehensive and professional manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
