About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Allied Health team at The Hospital Research Foundation Group. As a client-centred professional, you will provide occupational therapy assessments, interpret findings, and implement intervention plans in collaboration with clients, primary support people, and other clinicians.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing OT assessments and developing intervention plans to maximise client choice, independence, and wellbeing
  • Promoting health and wellness solutions and supporting optimal mental and physical outcomes for clients
  • Providing clinical supervision and support to a team of OTs
  • Increasing awareness and understanding of neurological, cardiovascular, metabolic, and musculoskeletal conditions among clients, families, and health professionals
  • Connecting with consumers, families, and support coordinators to maximise client outcomes

We're looking for individuals with:

  • Applicable tertiary qualifications and current AHPRA registration with a minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience
  • Experience in clinical supervision and a strong understanding of neurological, cardiovascular, metabolic, and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Ability to deliver sound advice and education in a comprehensive and professional manner
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team with a flexible and positive attitude
