Community Relations Events Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Relations Events Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the school community, this role involves planning, coordinating, executing, delivering, and evaluating a high-quality program of events and workshops to promote the school's success and build sustainable community programs.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and event management skills, with a proven track record of building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. They will be proactive, organised, and have excellent communication skills to work effectively within a vibrant team environment.

The job involves:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive events calendar
  • Coordinating logistics for events and workshops
  • Budgeting and financial management
  • Communications and marketing
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship-building

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the importance of community relations and events management in achieving the school's strategic goals. They will be able to demonstrate their expertise through a portfolio of past experiences or relevant achievements.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, communications)
  • Proven experience in event management, preferably in an educational setting

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
