Personal Care Attendant

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our domestic team at a 50-bed residence. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of all communal areas and client rooms.
About the Role:
- Cleaning furniture, bathrooms, toilets, and floors
- Disposing of waste products appropriately
- Maintaining living areas in a clean and safe condition
- Laundering personal laundry and linen correctly, adhering to infection control practices
- Planning duties to ensure service delivery within allocated timeframes
About You:
- Prior experience working as a cleaner or laundry assistant, preferably in aged care, hospital, or similar environments
- A genuine compassion for residents and a can-do attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- A willingness to uphold the organization's vision, mission, and values
- A current police clearance or willingness to obtain one
- Willingness to receive relevant vaccinations (COVID-3x, annual Flu)
