Highly Skilled Mental Health Access Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Access Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing welcoming and professional access to mental health supports in regional, rural and remote communities.
As a Mental Health Access Worker, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Medicare Mental Health Centre (MMHC). Your excellent communication skills and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds will be essential in creating a Centre that supports individuals from all walks of life to receive comprehensive mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Centre Manager/Clinical Lead in implementing the MMHC service delivery model;
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide integrated, evidence-based mental health services;
- Maintaining effective operations and compliance for the MMHC;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in an Allied Mental Health discipline or relevant experience working in Mental Health service delivery;
- Experience in rural and remote communities;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds;
