Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our data migration initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defining and leading large-scale data migration and data-centric transformation projects, with expertise in migrating complex data sets using ETL tools, as well as experience in working with ERP systems, such as SAP and/or Oracle.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, including proficiency in coding languages such as SQL, Python, and R, as well as experience with data engineering, data quality, and data cleansing activities.

Additionally, the candidate should have experience with different delivery methodologies, including agile, hybrid agile, and waterfall, across the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders to explain and address technical risks and requirements in a clear business context.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with migration of large complex data sets using ETL tools (ideally 5+ years)
  • Experience in migrating data for ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or Oracle.
  • Experience in defining data migration strategies, requirements, data profiling & quality processes, and testing & reconciliation frameworks
  • Experience with data engineering, data quality, data cleansing activities
  • Experience of different delivery methodologies (agile, hybrid agile, waterfall) across the project lifecycle (planning, discovery, implementation, go-live)
