Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced research professional to support recombinant protein discovery and production.

You will work in a collaborative team of experts delivering solutions for industry partners through cutting-edge research and development projects.

  • Support the development of innovative protein research candidates by contributing to molecular engineering, protein expression, purification, and protein characterisation.
  • Collaborate with laboratory teams to achieve project goals including routine analysis such as Gel Electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, and Western Blot.
  • Perform laboratory housekeeping duties including stock control, equipment management, and preparation of materials.
  • Ensure the monitoring and documentation of laboratory safety, risk management, and biosafety.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory records.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop expertise in biotechnology and pharmaceutical science while building a strong research profile.
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and establish a platform for smart-design, manufacture, and quality assurance of targeted radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Work closely with the Protein Expression Facility to develop innovative protein research candidates.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
  • Prior experience working with yeast expression systems is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in buffer and media preparation, with experience in routine analysis.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to perform tasks within limited timeframes.
  • Attention to detail to ensure all work is carried out safely and to the highest standard.
