AV Installation Professional

We are seeking an experienced AV installation professional to join our team. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install high-quality AV equipment according to specifications and instructions
  • Plan and execute the installation of cables such as conduit, cable tray, ducting, and wire systems
  • Rack wiring, termination, and labeling for efficient system setup
  • Interpret schematic diagrams, panel drawings, and rack layouts for accurate installation
  • Record and maintain relevant documentation for commissioning purposes
  • Test and commission cabling systems, including field and inter-rack cabling
  • Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction levels
  • Travel to regional and remote client sites when required
  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe and healthy working environment
  • Lead small groups of staff and manage projects with minimal supervision
  • Resolve ICT & AV equipment issues, and collaborate with the commissioning team on testing and commissioning AV systems
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress, working closely with other trades onsite, such as electricians and builders

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an AV installer or in a similar industry
  • Trade qualification in electronics, communications, or audio visual, or demonstrated industry equivalent is desirable
  • Hold a current Construction Induction Card or be willing to obtain one
  • Currently hold an EWP license and Cabler Registration and endorsements is desirable
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Australian citizenship to access secure agency sites
