The ideal candidate will be a beacon of thought leadership, offering insights and fostering connections both within ART and beyond. Key responsibilities include:

  • Crafting and executing ART's strategy and performance metrics, aligning day-to-day operations with our strategic vision.
  • Offering strategic counsel to the Board, Executive Committee, and key stakeholders with data-driven plans, illuminating enterprise performance and anticipating emerging trends.
  • Leading the development and realisation of ART's five-year plan, strategically allocating financial resources to benefit our members and secure a prosperous future.

A successful General Manager must possess a tertiary degree or equivalent combination of education and financial experience, particularly in capital and reserves. Proven experience in strategic planning and analysis, with a track record of developing and implementing long-term corporate and business strategies, is essential.

  • Extensive analytical and financial skills to evaluate opportunities and guide decision-making.
  • Possessing the ability to work and communicate effectively and diplomatically across diverse cultural groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust, instill confidence, and influence executive and board members to drive strategic outcomes across the business.
