Service Excellence Manager Opportunity

At our university residential facility, we seek a highly skilled Service Excellence Manager to provide exceptional service experiences that foster meaningful connections between students and the community.

This role requires greeting guests warmly, coordinating with various departments, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining a superior standard of service at all times. You will work in a fast-paced environment, offering efficient and friendly food and beverage services, setting up and resetting catering buffets, and addressing customer complaints as necessary.

To be successful, you will have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, a valid RSA certification, excellent customer service skills, and a driver's license. A supervisor/manager background is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome and attended.
  • Act as a liaison between guests and any department necessary.
  • Perform basic administrative/secretarial/reception duties.
  • Ensure a superior standard of service at all times for clients.
  • Provide efficient, friendly, and professional food and beverage services.
  • Setup and reset specific catering buffets & function activities as directed.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of people.
  • Communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen, and other areas of operation.
  • Responsible for the smooth running of daily operations.
  • Immaculate standard of personal grooming and presentation.
  • Ability to resolve complaints and escalate to management when necessary.

Requirements:

  • At Least 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
  • A valid RSA certification.
  • Excellent Customer Service.
  • Must have driver license.
