Job Title: Mortgage Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Mortgage Expert. As a key member of our retail branch network, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional member service and providing sound residential mortgage advice.

  • Your primary responsibility will be to build relationships with members and provide them with seamless end-to-end banking experiences.
  • You will work collaboratively with branch staff, regional lending peers, and our credit team to ensure that members receive a positive experience during the largest and most exciting purchase they make – their home.

About You

As a Mortgage Expert, you must be results-driven, self-motivated, and proactive yet flexible in operation. You should have strong retail lending experience and a solid knowledge of local residential mortgage products and the real estate market within your region. A Tier 2 accreditation and/or a Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Brokering is essential for this role.

  • Providing meaningful conversations with members by building trust and confidence
  • Making outbound calls to new and prospective members
  • Building relationships within the Defence Community
  • Educating members to adopt and use digital banking tools
  • Growing the Mortgage and Consumer lending portfolios
  • Partnering with the Credit Team to ensure member expectations are met within a reasonable time period and within credit criteria
