About the Role

The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Consultant - Examination Security to join their team. As a key member of the Examination Logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the collation, dispatch, and return of examination materials to schools, supervisors, and other relevant parties.
  • Liaise with local and international couriers to ensure the secure collection and delivery of examination materials.
  • Manage the training of casual staff on security procedures and protocols.
  • Develop and implement effective security measures to prevent examination tampering and ensure the integrity of the examination process.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent substantial experience in a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Highly developed project management skills, with experience in planning, monitoring, reviewing, evaluating, and reporting on complex projects.
  • Ability to provide leadership and work collaboratively to manage complex projects and issues.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in undertaking high-level consultations, collaborations, and negotiations.
