Domain Architect

Westpac Group is seeking a highly skilled Domain Architect to join our Corporate Architecture team. As a Domain Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Financial Markets business, driving transformational change, and ensuring alignment with our technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the Execution Roadmap for Financial Markets and Traded Risk, working closely with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Define and maintain reference architecture for FM core capabilities and platforms.
  • Provide thought leadership and technology expertise to assist business in formulating business strategy and technology investment decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our Financial Markets capabilities.
  • Lead a small experience architecture team to deliver end-to-end solutions to FM projects, aligned with the Execution Roadmap.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Markets, with a deep understanding of financial markets products and end-to-end architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience in architecture, with strong knowledge of architecture frameworks, patterns, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in distributed microservice architecture in supporting low-latency trading environments.
  • Broad knowledge of integration and information architecture.
