Job Description

We're looking for a seasoned engineering leader to manage our recommendations team. As an Engineering Manager, you'll oversee the development of cutting-edge solutions that provide customers with personalized recommendations.

The team is responsible for enhancing and creating new touch-points that cater to customers' unique needs, from product discovery to content consumption.

Your primary objectives will be:

  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience through data-driven insights.
  • Maintain operational excellence in your team's services, ensuring high-quality delivery in production environments.
  • To build, grow, and establish a strong team culture, processes, and social connections.
  • To contribute to goal-setting and strategy definition for your team.
  • To provide technical leadership and guidance for projects, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • To manage projects and roadmaps, keeping stakeholders informed about progress, blockers, and risk-mitigation actions.

Your qualifications and skills include:

  • At least 2 years of experience leading and growing software engineering teams.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts, such as scaling, consistency, and availability trade-offs.
  • Excellent planning, dependency management, and communication skills.
