At Coles Supermarkets, we're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaning and Trolley Collection Team Member. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.

About the Role

As a Cleaning and Trolley Collection Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring our stores provide a positive shopping experience for our customers. This includes working through a checklist of cleaning tasks throughout the store, using various equipment and cleaning products to clean floors, shelving, and other areas, and collecting trolleys from in and around the store and store carpark.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough cleaning tasks throughout the store, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and buffing floors.
  • Use various equipment and cleaning products to clean shelving, refrigeration rooms, industrial ovens, and drains.
  • Collect trolleys from in and around the store and store carpark, ensuring they are stored in a safe and secure manner.

About You

  • You will be working both indoors and outdoors, so you'll need to be comfortable in a variety of environments.
  • You'll be trusted to work autonomously and in a group setting, so you'll need to be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • You'll need to have a keen eye for detail and a passion for working safely and following Coles Safe work practices.
  • You'll need to be physically fit and able to lift up to 17kgs, as well as be available for a wide variety of shifts between 5am-11pm, 7 days per week.
