Job Overview:

As a key member of our underground operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient extraction of ore from our deep, sub-level open stoping operation. Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with company and legislative standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing pre-shift safety checks on mining equipment assigned for the day.
  • Executing shift plans to safely haul ore to the surface operational processing plant.
  • Maintaining real-time communication with Mine Control.
  • Completing all required shift reports.
  • Ensuring effective handovers with immediate cross-shift and supervisors.
  • Conducting regular workplace inspections.
  • Safely transporting rock material to designated underground tipping locations.
