Job Title: Support Worker - Cleaning Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Support Worker in a Cleaning role. In this position, you will play a vital part in ensuring the delivery of a safe and clean-living environment for residents and a work environment for staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility, including routine tasks such as mopping, vacuuming floors, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, cobweb removal, window cleaning, waste management, restocking of supplies, collection of soiled linen and clothing.
  • Daily, weekly, monthly cleaning tasks according to homes' cleaning schedules and document completion of scheduled tasks.
  • Operate mechanical cleaning equipment such as carpet cleaning machines, steam cleaners, and hard floor scrubbers.

About You:

  • Experience in cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, damp dusting, window, and high cleaning.
  • Knowledge and experience in safe chemical handling.
  • Completion of cleaning tasks according to infection control and occupational health and safety requirements.
