Job Title: Cleaning Support Specialist

About the Role

This is a physically demanding role that requires assisting with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program, contributing to a clean and safe working environment, preparing and cleaning in accordance with the Food Safety Program, cleaning and sorting of residents' clothing, ensuring all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards, understanding and executing infection control initiatives, and ensuring all cleaning tasks meet CraigCare Standards.

Your Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Prepare and clean according to the Food Safety Program.
  • Clean and sort residents' clothing.
  • Ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards.
  • Understand and execute infection control initiatives.
Requirements
  • Organised and can-do attitude to work in a physically demanding team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work across any day of the week.
  • Previous experience in Hotel Services (Kitchen) within an Aged Care Environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Food Safety.
  • Proof of Right to Work.
