We are seeking an experienced IT Asset and Configuration Manager to join our team at Medibank Private Limited. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of IT assets and configuration management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement configuration management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance, currency, completeness, and quality.
- Define and maintain configuration item (CI) structures, relationships, and attributes to support IT service management.
- Manage and maintain compliance of IT and service assets in line with business and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to identify, document, and manage configuration items throughout their lifecycle.
- Develop, configure, and maintain tools (including automation) to identify, track, log, and maintain accurate, complete, and current information.
- Work with other process owners and managers to establish process and governance interfaces with Incident, Change, Problem, Release, Capacity Management, Security, and Technical functions.
- Participate in IT Management Bridges and Stakeholder engagement as required.
- Proven experience in asset and configuration management.
- Thorough knowledge of integration of ITIL processes, especially Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Design, Service Transition, and Service Asset and Configuration Management.
- Strong knowledge of Service Management platforms such as ServiceNow, and demonstrable career history in automated discovery, service mapping across the hybrid cloud.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions through effective negotiation skills, driving change across all levels of the business and different stakeholders.
- Proven record of expertise and achievements in the implementation and ongoing development of Service Asset and Configuration Management processes in a complex environment.
