This position is focused on youth clients at high-risk of reoffending.
The role involves delivering intensive casework to targeted detainees and collaborating with correctional facility staff and specialists.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality casework to a small number of targeted youth detainees;
- Work collaboratively with correctional facility staff and specialists;
- Provide referral pathways to youth clients and their families;
- Report on the impact of case work and network referrals;
- A degree in social work or behavioural sciences from a recognized institution, or equivalent experience;
- Professional familiarity with the criminal justice system;
- A current driver's license and reliable driving history;
- Experience working with clients in similar settings and trauma-informed practice qualifications.
This is a state-wide position within the Through Care Team. The team focuses on providing support to youth clients who are at risk of reoffending.
