About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical supervision to Entry to Practice nurses;
- Offering learning and development support to ensure effective mental health, drugs and alcohol service delivery;
- Acting as a role model for lifelong learning, demonstrating high-quality and evidence-based approaches to education and training;
- Demonstrating positive collaborative relationships across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs to enhance nursing practice and patient care outcomes;
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff to improve their skills and knowledge;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement organisational policies and procedures.
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of mental health services and contribute to the growth and development of the nursing workforce.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent formal professionally recognised qualifications in Psychiatric Nursing;
- Current registration with APHRA as a Division 1 nurse;
- Postgraduate Diploma or Masters in mental health nursing, AOD, education or similar;
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (minimum education and training qualification) or working toward successful completion;
- Demonstrated experience and/or interest in education, teaching and learning processes;
- At least 5 years full-time experience working within mental health services;
- Experience working as a trained clinical (professional) supervisor in a mental health setting.
