Procurement Officer Opportunity
Location: Inner Suburbs
Hours: 38 hours per week
Contract Type: Temporary contract
Salary: $39 per hour + super

Public Sector People is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer to join a well-regarded local council in the inner suburbs on a temporary basis.

About the Role
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in reviewing and cleaning contract data records for over 500 contracts stored in the contract management system, Open Window. This will involve ensuring that all contract information is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the accounting system, TechOne.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and clean contract data records
  • Ensure contract information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Align contract data with accounting system
  • Develop an effective contract dashboard and reporting on procurement performance and compliance

Requirements

  • Previous procurement experience in a public sector organisation
  • Strong understanding of contract agreements
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in OpenWindows and/or TechnologyOne/FinanceOne is highly regarded
