Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to lead a multidisciplinary team and provide specialist psychiatric services to patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting patient safety and quality of care by providing leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to provide specialist psychiatric services to patients
  • Promote patient safety and quality of care through effective leadership and guidance
  • Work within the scope of clinical practice defined by local health guidelines
Selection Criteria
  • Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in psychiatry from the UK or equivalent registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
  • Demonstrated clinical skills and experience working with mental health problems in Adult Mental Health
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
