About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stock and Administration Officer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for someone to take on a newly created role with significant responsibilities, working closely with our Bakehouse operations.

This key position involves the efficient management of production costs, supply chain operations, and stock control. Key responsibilities include ensuring recipes and stock codes are up to date in our internal stock system, planning daily savory production while maintaining accurate systems forecasts, completing supplier orders and liaising with suppliers and couriers, and timely processing of all stock and product transactions.

In addition, this role will involve planning, organizing, and participating in Bakehouse activities including receipt, documentation, storage, safety, and distribution of stock and products. You will also review and improve inventory control processes, complete end-of-month procedures including stock takes, stock adjustments, and investigating discrepancies, support our stores with product or delivery issues, participate in Bakehouse meetings, work collaboratively with the Bakehouse team to resolve operational issues, observe work health and safety regulations, maintain the Bakehouse storeroom in a clean, safe, and orderly condition, perform additional duties as requested by the Bakehouse Operations Manager, and provide regular reporting on Bakehouse activities as required.

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Reasonably fit with the ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Have reliable transport with a valid driver's license
  • Be able to work in Australia without restrictions
