Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic professional to join our Intermediary Client Coverage Team as an Intermediary Client Services Officer. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual looking to develop a career in Client Coverage (Distribution) in asset management.

About the Role

This role will support the Australian Intermediary Client Coverage team in various administrative and business development activities, contributing to the team's key milestones. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in financial markets and investment management, with the ability to manage multiple demands and tasks efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support Intermediary Relationship Managers in sales activities, including client service and follow-up work, portfolio analysis, CRM maintenance, meeting preparation, and coordination, as well as general administration.
  • Become proficient in Salesforce to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness, managing contact details, data accuracy, and sales/marketing segment lists.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns via Salesforce and client-facing engagement.
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with clients, including financial advisers, IFAs, brokers, private wealth managers, private banks, family offices, and asset managers.
  • Communicate investment ideas and product information clearly to clients and prospects.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess strong client service capabilities, preferably with experience in the asset management industry, particularly in ETFs and managed funds. You must also be degree-qualified or equivalent, preferably in a finance or analytical field, and hold a current RG146 qualification.

A working knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft applications is essential, as is the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external clients. You should also be willing to assume responsibility, take ownership of assigned tasks, and demonstrate good technical ability with investment industry knowledge.
