About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Platform Engineer with expertise in VMware, Networking, DevOps, and automation tools to join our team. As a Staff Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering innovative cloud, virtualization, and networking solutions, driving infrastructure design and automation across multiple environments, and ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build physical networks for virtualization platforms using Cisco/Dell switching and routing.
  • Develop network automation using tools like Ansible and Terraform, and code competently in Python, Go, or PowerShell.
  • Understand load balancers, proxies, and other network appliances, such as F5, AVI, and HAProxy.
  • Have some experience with Kubernetes networking, using CNIs like Calico and/or Cilium, enabling secure and scalable container orchestration.
  • Have some familiarity with modern monitoring tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Have exposure to DevOps pipelines, the SDLC process, and continuous delivery.
  • Be an effective collaborator with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership.
  • Mentor and promote best practice engineering guidance to junior engineers.
