Job Details

This is a permanent, part-time dental position working 32 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Flow: Prepare for patient appointments and coordinate with the dentist.
  • Chair Side Assisting: Set up instruments and materials and assist with clinical procedures.
  • Surgery Organisation: Maintain infection control, clean and maintain the surgery, manage waste and assist other Dental Assistants as needed.
  • Sterile Supply Unit: Clean and prepare handpieces for sterilisation and process instruments.
  • Work Health and Safety (WHS): Comply with WHS policies and report hazardous conditions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Essential: Dental knowledge and experience, neat appearance, good personal hygiene, confidentiality and initiative.
  • Desirable: Experience in reception duties and qualifications in radiography, sterilising, first aid and a Certificate III in dental assisting.
