Disability Support Professional

We seek a dedicated and passionate individual to fill this permanent part-time vacancy in our group home. This role requires working 40-48 hours per fortnight.

The Position:
  • As a Disability Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing care and empowerment to individuals with disabilities.
  • You will support clients in developing and maintaining independence and advocating for their unique needs.
  • Deliver personalized support by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administering medication, and manual handling using various equipment and aids.
  • Transport clients in wheelchair-accessible vehicles and facilitate community access.
  • Monitor the well-being of clients and report on their progress.
  • Be an integral member of a dynamic team.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Experience as a disability support professional, carer, or assistant in nursing.
  • A current NSW Driver's License, with a minimum P2 classification.
