We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Disability Support Practitioner in a group home setting.
The successful applicant will be working with clients to develop and maintain their independence, advocating for their individual needs, and delivering personalized support.
The Role:This is a Permanent Part Time vacancy, with 40-48 hours per fortnight. We are looking for an individual who shares our values of Passionate, Respectful, Ethical, Curious, and Courageous, and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
- Supporting clients to develop and maintain independence through assistance with daily living activities.
- Delivering personalized support including mealtime assistance, personal care, administering medication, and manual handling tasks.
- Transporting clients in wheelchair accessible vans and pool cars to facilitate community access.
- Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Experience as a disability support practitioner or carer with a strong focus on client-centered care.
- A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum) to enable safe transportation of clients.
