Senior Business Analyst Position

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our client's Funding and Disclosure Reform Program in Canberra. This program aims to enhance regulatory capabilities by developing and implementing new systems and processes that increase transparency and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead business analysis activities across all project phases, including pre-discovery, discovery, design, and delivery within a multidisciplinary agile team.
  • Design workshops, manage stakeholder relationships, and translate complex business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Contribute to producing user stories, system documentation, wireframes, and data models that support delivery teams, including developers, testers, and DevOps.
Requirements:
  • Strong capabilities in business process modelling using BPMN or equivalent.
  • Analysis of complex system integrations across cloud and legacy platforms.
  • Alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Skilled collaboration using tools like Azure DevOps for backlog management and release planning.
About the Role:

You will engage with diverse stakeholders from legal and policy teams to technical and operational staff to ensure solutions meet legislative and policy requirements while fostering a positive workplace culture.

A demonstrated ability to analyse data flows, system interfaces, and APIs will support your success in this role.

This full-time position is based in Canberra with flexible hybrid working arrangements. Candidates must be eligible for Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
