
Nurse Leadership Position

Main Responsibilities:

- Strategically plan and develop the service with the management team

- Maintain open communication within the team and management
- Create a positive team environment
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor standards and outcomes of nursing care
- Promote staff development and education
- Initiate and participate in research activities
- Plan and run clinical meetings
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered as a general nurse with AHPRA
- Current practicing certificate
- Relevant post-basic/tertiary qualification
- Minimum five years current relevant nursing experience
- Strong organisational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of quality improvement processes and risk management strategies
- Leadership skills and ability to motivate the team
