Music Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Music Teacher to join our vibrant Arts Learning Area at Hedland Senior High School. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a differentiated curriculum that meets the needs of all students from Year 7 to 12.

• Deliver high-quality music education to students, focusing on academic excellence and student engagement.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and inclusive arts program.
• Provide opportunities for students to develop their musical skills and creativity through performances and events.

• Hold a valid teaching qualification and registration with the Western Australian College of Teaching.
• Have a strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Be able to teach music to students of varying abilities and learning styles.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
