We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Inventory Management Expert to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the procurement, inventory management, and supply chain functions across all sites and vessels.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management and possess strong financial skills. You will be responsible for managing daily purchasing and procurement activities, maintaining optimal stock levels through effective inventory management, analysing inventory data to inform strategic decision-making, negotiating supplier agreements and pricing structures to secure the best value, and ensuring accurate reporting and budget adherence while maintaining stock integrity across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily purchasing and procurement activities across all sites and vessels
  • Maintain optimal stock levels through effective inventory management
  • Analyse inventory data to inform strategic decision-making
  • Negotiate supplier agreements and pricing structures to secure the best value
  • Ensure accurate reporting and budget adherence while maintaining stock integrity across the organisation
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in business/logistics/supply chain management or equivalent experience
  • Open Australian Manual Drivers' Licence
  • Forklift Licence
