Pharmacist Leadership Opportunity

Our Pharmacy department is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist Manager to oversee daily operations and drive improvement in clinical services and patient outcomes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team, providing guidance and support to pharmacists, interns, and pharmacy technicians. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to pharmacy staff, ensuring effective service delivery and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance pharmacy services, including student programs and quality improvement activities
  • Collaborate with senior management to align pharmacy services with organisational goals and objectives

Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy with current unrestricted registration as a pharmacist with APRHA
  • Relevant clinical experience within a hospital pharmacy, preferably in a leadership role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience in quality improvement programs and process redesign
