Role Description

We are seeking an Assistant Coordinator to join our team in providing a safe and inclusive OSHC service.

The Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the OSHC service, ensuring the safety and well-being of staff and children.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and casual booking records to guarantee child safety and supervision.
  • Supervise educators, ensuring they understand and fulfill their in-service responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of engaging educational programs through observations and reflection journals.
  • Enhance children's participation and engagement in programs by sharing experiences with families.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with families and the school community.
About You
  • Possess a qualification in Child Education and Care or be working towards it.
  • Hold previous work experience in Out of School Hour (OSHC) care.
  • Hold a certificate of training in child protection.
  • Be fully qualified in first aid.
  • Hold a valid NSW Working with Children check or be willing to obtain one.
  • Currently hold and valid working rights for Australia.
