Co-design is a collaborative approach to problem-solving, and as Assistant Director - Co-Design and Facilitation Lead, you will lead the development of our co-design capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and drive co-design projects for Women Veterans Policy Forum and Veteran Families Policy Forum
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual workshops on sensitive topics with potentially vulnerable populations
  • Recruit participants and promote the Forums externally
  • Manage stakeholder enquiries and relationships to build understanding and use of co-design in policy, program and product development
  • Represent the team at external engagements with members of the Australian veteran and veteran family communities

To be eligible, you must be an Australian citizen and successfully undergo a pre-engagement screening check.

Requirements:

We are seeking a creative and motivated problem solver with expertise in Human Centred Design/Design Thinking. You should have strong leadership and collaboration skills, including supervisory experience.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
