Job Opportunity

We are a performance marketing video agency that produces ads for mobile games, apps and tech brands.

This role is for an experienced Video Director + Video Editor who has:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the industry.
  • Excellent creative mind to create engaging videos and direct productions.
  • Strong project management skills and client communication skills.
  • Pacing for short social ads and deep knowledge of creating strong concepts and hooks.
  • A keen ambition to grow, learn and improve creatively.
  • A love for games, TikTok, Reels, YouTube, social media and the latest video formats that get attention.
  • Proactive at problem solving, strong initiative and signs of a leader that can work in a team.

Responsibilities

Video Director - The main focus:

  • Take charge in filming and directing video ads on set and at locations for clients.
  • High level of understanding of camera operation & control of lighting.
  • Ability in both professional cameras for high-end productions and iPhone capture for an authentic/social filming style.
  • Managing production timelines and ensuring ads are of high quality and completed on time.
  • Pre-production tasks such as shot list/storyboard and set preparation.
  • Writing project briefs and working closely with our producers and editors.
  • Managing and communicating with actors/talent.

Video Editor - The secondary skill:

  • Highly skilled with Adobe Premiere Pro, sound design, green screen, basic After Effects and moderate motion graphics.
  • Ability to create engaging pacing and usage of effects, transitions and captions for modern edits.
  • Proactive at problem solving, initiative and signs of a strong leader the team will enjoy working with.
  • Love for games, TikTok, Reels, YouTube, social media and the latest video formats that get attention.
  • Desire to create high quality content and deliver results you are proud of.
Benefits
  • Salary range: 70-90K + Bonus
  • Full-time in-office (Mon-Fri) with our team located in Woolloongabba.
  • No international or out-of-state applicants. Brisbane only.
