About the Speech Therapist Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate speech therapist to work with individuals with developmental delays and/or disabilities, making a real difference in their lives.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based assessments and therapy to a paediatric caseload, working closely with clients and their families to achieve their goals and potential.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality, family-centred support to children with developmental needs, including direct and community-based interventions,
  • Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary context to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes,
  • Provide information, education and support to key stakeholders, and
  • Evaluate, train and review services to ensure ongoing quality and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and current registration with the relevant professional body are essential,
  • A passion for working with individuals who have disabilities, enabling each client to achieve their own goals and participate in their community,
  • Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to work effectively in a culturally rich and diverse environment, and
  • Effective time management and attention to detail.
