About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at our Karingal facility in Devonport, Tasmania on a casual basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care to consumers, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care that meets consumer expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and management to care staff, fostering a team environment that prioritizes consumer-centered care.
- Ensure all staff reporting to you are working within their scope of practice and maintaining Baptcare standards in terms of care delivery, professionalism, and customer-focused approach.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with colleagues, staff, consumers, and families, respecting individual privacy and dignity.
- Ensure safe and secure management of medications.
- Contribute proactively to the continuous improvement process and explain same to stakeholders.
- Maintain own educational and professional development within Scope of Practice.
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with Elderly people.
- Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and basic Excel.
- Ability to meet and perform the inherent requirements of the role.
