Disability Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

About the Role:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) before and after school. Your duties will include assisting with daily routines, promoting independence in daily living tasks, and implementing structured routines to ensure stability for the client.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to individuals with ASD before and after school.Assist with daily routines and promote independence in daily living tasks.Implement and adhere to structured routines to ensure stability for the client.Foster a positive and encouraging environment to help build confidence and social skills.Collaborate with families and other professionals to develop support strategies tailored to individual needs.Maintain regular communication regarding progress and any challenges faced.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You must also possess strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. A relevant qualification in disability support, social work, or a related field is highly desirable.
