Job Description\

The Department of Communities brings together services and functions of disability, child protection, family support, community initiatives, and regional services reform.

\

As a Senior Psychologist, you will participate in the Neurodevelopmental Disability Assessment Service (NDAS) to provide psychological assessments, reports, and consultation for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or Intellectual Disability (ID).

\

This role contributes professional skills and knowledge to enhance team functioning and encourage positive outcomes for children and families.

\

\Required Skills & Qualifications\

For Psychologist Roles:

  • Tertiary degree qualification in Psychology approved by the Psychology Board of Australia\
  • General Registration as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)\
  • Postgraduate masters degree in Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychology or approved equivalent\
  • Eligibility for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and specialist endorsement with AHPRA\
