Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality, individualised support to people of all abilities and backgrounds.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication skills, a sound understanding of NDIS requirements, and the ability to adapt to diverse situations.

  • Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in a care role
  • Be available to work weekends and sleepovers
  • The ability to problem solve, read cues, adapt, and respond calmly in any situation
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children's Check (Blue Card)
  • Current QLD Drivers Licence
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months)
  • Right to Work in Australia evidence
  • Minimum Cert III in Individualised Support or other relevant industry qualification

This role involves administering personal care, including assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming. You will also support participants in Supported Independent Living, advocating for their choices and empowering them to achieve their goals and live their best lives.

We are looking for someone who is flexible in their service delivery, can adapt to their surroundings and the needs of participants, and is an empathic person who is a great listener and believes in precision and order.
