The Airborne Surveillance Control & Intelligence Systems Program Office (ASCISPO) is an integrated team of Australian Public Servants, Military and Contractor personnel. Our mission is to empower personnel to make informed risk-based decisions.

About the Role

The APS 5 Project Scheduler will be responsible for assisting with project scheduling, providing critical expert advice and assistance. You will use your initiative and experience to analyse, plan, review and adjust priorities and work activities to meet business outcomes.

  • Provide technical, operational, professional and procedural advice for complex activities.
  • Engage with stakeholders and manage their expectations to deliver agreed project outcomes.

The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritise and deliver in a timely manner. They will also have well-developed interpersonal skills, including communicating clear and confidently, both orally and written.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with financial acumen.
  • Able to deliver, plan and support Project Management activities through experience in scheduling.
  • An interest in career development and training becoming highly effective in the short to medium term.
Benefits

This position offers a remuneration package including a generous superannuation contribution of 15.4%. Defence provides relocation assistance to eligible APS employees required to relocate.

The level of assistance will vary depending on the reason for relocating and your personal circumstances. You will also have access to flexible working conditions to support work life balance and opportunities for career development and training.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $83,706 - $89,659 per annum, plus up to 15.4% superannuation.
