This is a senior leadership role that oversees the delivery of high-quality research projects. The Research Project Lead will be responsible for planning, contracting, oversight, and delivery of projects that meet the strategic priorities of the National Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end research projects, including project planning, contracting, and delivery within scope, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Act as primary liaison between research partners and internal teams to facilitate clear communication and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Develop and implement research strategies that address existing gaps and prioritize trauma-responsive approaches aligned with the National Centre's mission.
  • Champion inclusive and culturally responsive research practices across all projects and partnerships.
  • Translate and communicate research findings through plain language summaries, presentations, and briefings for diverse internal and external audiences.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in research, social sciences, public health, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience managing complex research projects, including planning, contracting, delivery, and reporting within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Skilled in embedding trauma-informed and victim-centred practices across research design and delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of ethical research frameworks and lived experience engagement principles to ensure all projects uphold these standards.
