We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Mining Deputy to join our team.

  • The successful applicant will lead safety and operational activities at Airly Mine.
  • This role involves working a 3-day, 12-hour weekend night shift roster.
  • The candidate will be directly employed in a full-time position.
  • They will operate at Airly Mine near Capertee, NSW.

About the Role

  • As an Underground Mining Deputy, you will provide leadership and ensure safety compliance underground.
  • You will support operational efficiency and team coordination.
  • You will maintain high standards of risk management.
  • You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Ensuring safe working practices and protocols are followed.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of mining operations.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks.

What We're Looking For

  • A NSW Deputy's Certificate of Competency.
  • A valid NSW Practising Certificate (with current learning hours).
  • A safety-first mindset and strong leadership skills.
  • The ability to relocate or commute locally.
