Service Coordinator

As a key member of our Home Health program at Australian Unity, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 150 customers and a team of Care Workers in tamworth and manilla. Your role will include coordinating with a Business Leader who fosters a culture of learning and development, making this a valuable learning and growth experience for you.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a team to achieve good results both for the business and the customer. Industry experience isn't a must for this role; we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, including those looking to make a rewarding career change from a banking, real estate, or sales background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead customer acquisition and growth while building a strong and positive brand in the community.
- Conduct initial assessments, annual reviews, and develop comprehensive care plans to build strong connections with clients' families.
- Manage and resolve client escalations and complaints to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Build and develop valuable relationships with external service providers and internal Clinical and Allied Health teams.
- Promote a culture of safety and lead by example.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a strong focus on compliance within your portfolio.
Requirements:
- Proven people leader with a track record of cultivating a high-performing and engaged team.
- Strong coaching and development capabilities to nurture your team's growth.
- Exceptional multitasking and ability to take ownership of customer-focused solutions.
- Prior experience in managing financial budgets.
- Success rate in working to KPIs and targets.
- Effective stakeholder management with the ability to drive business outcomes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to self-manage priorities.
- Fully COVID-19 vaccinated with two doses (booster is optional).
